Zplus

Zplus is an app that allows you to use Android Auto on the screen in your car, even if it is not compatible. As a result, you can enjoy your Android smartphone screen, either by connecting it via a USB cable or wirelessly via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. When you open Zplus, the first thing you need to do is to give it the permissions to modify system settings and to display over other apps, as Android Auto overlays other apps in your vehicle.

Project your smartphone screen in your car

After granting the permissions, simply connect your device to the display. The app gives you the option to choose how you want to connect it. If you choose wireless, you also have the option to wirelessly share your device's screen. This does not allow you to use Android Auto, but it does allow you to see the same content shown on your device's screen, including GPS or music. If you project the screen, you can't control it via the screen in your car, and you'll have to use your smartphone to do or change anything.

Zplus allows you to stay updated to the latest version through the "Check for Updates" function in the settings. This means you will always have the latest features available and it ensures compatibility with the latest devices. There is also an adaptive resolution option, where the resolution of the wireless display will decrease if there is a problem with your connection's stability.

Intermediary device required

Zplus requires a device that can act as an intermediary between your smartphone and your car's display. For example, for Teslas, you have to access a local website that the device creates, and there you will see your smartphone screen being projected.
